02 — Category

Booms — all sizes and shapes

Round, square and rectangular booms, tubes and spars across a wide range of sections, wall thicknesses and lengths.

Problem

A long tail boom had to stay stiff in bending without adding mass.

Approach

Unidirectional plies on the bending axis with ±45° hoop plies for torsion and crush resistance.

Result

Deflection target met at lower mass, with consistent wall thickness along the length.

03 — Category

UAV & drone kits

Complete airframe kits for multirotor and VTOL platforms — centre plates, arms, junctions, landing structure and wings, matched to your motor and payload layout.

Problem

Multirotor arms flexed under full thrust, disturbing the flight controller.

Approach

Prepreg layup with unidirectional plies along the arm axis, ±45° for torsion, local reinforcement at the junction.

Result

Tip deflection dropped substantially at similar mass; first article inside the prototype window.

04 — Category

Fixed-wing fuselages

Moulded fuselage shells and pods with integrated frames, bulkheads, hatches and payload mounting provisions.

Problem

Earlier shells varied in mass and shape enough to affect trim between aircraft.

Approach

Resin infusion with a controlled preform and documented cure, interfaces machined to drawing after demould.

Result

Mass and interface dimensions tracked across the batch — airframes interchangeable without shimming.

Problem

A moving assembly needed lower inertia without losing stiffness.

Approach

Carbon or glass laminate sized to the duty cycle, with metal inserts bonded at fastening points.

Result
